The company overlays drawings onto up-to-date site imagery to improve coordination of crane locations, haul routes, and temporary works, reducing clashes and rework. Additionally, Cairn employs DroneDeploy’s Ground Pro 3D scanning and RTK-enabled mobile capture to verify underground service installations before backfilling, creating permanent records of depth and quality. The firm is also piloting DroneDeploy’s Progress AI to automate visual data analysis, enhancing schedule accuracy and installation tracking with higher precision.
